Since 2014 we have been providing our services to older people in South East London.
As a local authority approved supplier we pride ourselves on the first class service we offer, aiding older people to maintain independent living.
Our service was designed to meet the needs of older people often living alone or with conditions such as Dementia. After a personal experience with her Grandmother, founder Loren Mardle realised there was a great need for a service to not only offer companionship to older people, but to offer respite to the family and those caring for their loved ones.
Our aim is to reduce social isolation by establishing regular routines and companionship with all our clients.
We are led by the client and their families to create a bespoke package for daily, weekly visits either at home, with all your creature comforts chatting over a cup of tea, a walk in the park to appreciate nature and the elements, or a lunch out. We simply offer a trusted friendship service, drawing on our years of professional experience.
Studies have shown that isolation is the number one cause of loneliness in older people, with them often going days without communication or stimulus from outside sources. At Miss Mardle's Companions, our mission is to support our clients when integrating with local activity groups or enjoying lifelong hobbies. We are very passionate about the services we offer, and are proud to work alongside our clients, to assist where needed, enabling them to stay as independent as possible and enjoy life to the fullest.
We cover a wide area including The Royal Borough of Greenwich, Bromley and Bexley.
However with companions living in various locations, it's well worth contacting us to see if we are able to visit your area.
